Play Dough

Now that everyone is finally feeling better and back at work and school we had some family fun with the new issue of Parents magazine.

I got mine in the mail on Saturday so if you are a subscriber you should have this one and if you don't subscribe check out the stores they might have it soon.

Anyway they had a fun beat cabin fever article about making homemade play dough.  We just happened to have everything needed so we gave it a go.

Ok we had to alter a little like we only had the big box of Jello so we used about half.

Cherry is the perfect color for a valentines project anyway.

Just as a note as good as this stuff smells while it is being made DO NOT TASTE IT.  Trust me I did and it smells 100 times better than it tasted.

This was Z's first time playing with this kind of stuff.

But, once she got the idea of it there was no way anyone was going to take it away from her lol.

The best part of it is that it all fits in a sandwich size ziploc baggie.

Remember do not taste it lol.

Hey today is my 40th day without a cigarette for everyone who is keeping track of it.  Ok, I am keeping track and very proud to be able to say that I am still smoke free.
