The TV hasn't been turned on since we watched the Super Bowl. I am not sure I want to get anything to stream TV and movies on anymore. The kids are back to finding ways to entertain themselves without staring into the idiot box anymore. The boys have been reading more which is a good reason to leave it off.
That's hiliarious -- playing with the trash! I agree, though, it's nice (sometimes) to turn off the distractions so the family can interact with each other more!

DeleteAhh your family is lovely! we have a blackout night once a month which means no electronics for a whole evening, i love it because i can build dens with my boys and paint my daughter nails :D great post.
