It got better once we finally found an ethernet cable so we didn't have to try and watch streaming video over wifi. We also found an HDMI cable so we could hook my laptop to the TV so we all could watch.
Today we also had D's grandma and sister over for lunch. His mom is on vacation in Florida for the last month and wont be home for a while yet so we are trying to have grandma over once a week or so to get her out of the house. We fried some chicken and made homemade mashed potatoes for her so she ate well thats for sure.
After she left we still had some time to kill before the game started so we played blocks with Z-zilla.
I called her Z-zilla because as soon as we got a block city going Z-zilla would come and destroy it.
Then she would start trying to eat it.
It was a fun ending to a good weekend. D goes on call again next week. He is the back up guy so it won't be as bad as the last time but it will still suck.
The boys are home next weekend and we plan to go through their clothes and toys to hopefully make some space in their room and fill our bag for our monthly donation as part of my 2015 goals.
We are planning to do no tech Tuesday again this week so keep an eye out for that. Also, K is done with his next book review so that will be posted tomorrow. We have a few that we are working on for next week so keep your eye out for those as well.
