While I was working today I ended up at a stop less than a mile from my grandmothers house.  I stopped by to say hello and eat my lunch.

She was thrilled to see me and even gave me a chair.

I know that it looks like just an orange chair but its not.  This is an old orange chair.  My mother and her siblings used it.  My 12 cousins and I used it.  My cousins children have used it.  Grandma gave it to Z.

When she came home from daycare today and saw it she was super excited and had to try it out right away.

It is perfect for sitting in and looking out the window on.

I will have to strip the paint off of the chair soon because it has always been orange which probably means lead based paint but, I will repaint it orange.

FYI we did not plan the matching thing it just happened.

Today was the last day of confirmation for the year.  I got to admit I am so glad that its done until fall.  I am so tired of dropping him off and then having to pick him up an hour and a half later.

So because it was the last day they did potluck tacos.  We had to bring sour cream which wasn't too bad considering someone had to bring cheese for 72 tacos.  The church provided the meat.

Z is the only one who actually let me take a pic of them eating lol.

But, we did have a good time and K is looking forward to the summer activities the church has planned.  Next year might be different because the current pastor is leaving and every pastor runs things a little different so we will have to wait and see what happens.

I am not sure if I will get this job or not.  If I do I am not sure if I will like it but I suppose it is out of where I am at so what more could I ask for.

The lobby of this place is interesting.

I mean seriously a round room?

Sweet carpet in the waiting room tho.

I even kinda sorta dressed up and put makeup on.

I just hope I find something soon  :(

I am so tired of applying for jobs.  Some days I feel like quitting my current job and concentrating solely on finding a new one.

But, since I started looking I have had 1 group interview and 1 phone interview and I have been seriously looking for over a month now so my odds of finding something when I am unemployed and need a paycheck will be the same so I continue to work my now job and keep looking for my forever job.

I do have an interview tomorrow in Eden Prairie tomorrow.  I am not sure if its what I want but I plan to check it out anyway.

Wish me luck  <3

We are still on a mission for a on bike carrier for Z but had no luck at the bike shop that we stopped at today.  We did find some cool stuff at the thrift store next door to it tho.

A sweet metal top for $0.99

Z's first ponies together $1.49

More snap together circuits for G to do his "experiments" with for $6.99.  This was a super good score because we were just looking at them new yesterday at Hub Hobby for $35.00 a set and this was 3 sets combined for the $6.99.

Then while the boys were gone we went out to dinner and for a 2.5 mile hike.  We have now decided that we are also looking for a better backpack style baby carrier.

The scenery on the walk was beautiful and we do plan to take the boys back there someday.

Have you used a backpack style baby carrier or on bike baby carrier that you recommend or don't recommend if so which one?

Have you tried the Mountain Dewshine yet?

When I was at Target last week buying Dew because it was on sale they had coupons for buy a 12 pack get a free bottle of Dewshine so I thought why not its free.  All I am gonna say is it is not the greatest.  As in I still have 3.5 bottles of it because we all tried it and only G would drink it and I didn't want him to have too much caffeine.

All 3 boys got up early to run errands while Z and I slept in until 7:30 or so.  She got a new toybox and I got nothing lol.

G got a bag of play sand so he can weigh down his "punching thing" so he can work on testing it out for a review.

He likes it so far but the testing process just started.

So now we are picking out our pajamas and getting ready for bed and dreading the weekend being half over already.

On the up side I have an interview on Tuesday and Friday is payday so the week wont be too bad lol.

HP Keychain and bracelet

K and I are both Harry Potter fans so when we were given the opportunity to test some swag we were excited to do so.

It is a Deathly Hallows symbol bracelet and keychain set.  I kept the bracelet and gave the keychain to K.

From the beginning I did not like that it is the same symbol piece for both.  See how on the bracelet how the keychain loop is still attached it makes it look cheap.

One week later the bracelet is broken.   I shouldn't say broken so much as one of the chain loops came apart and it fell off.  I did fix it but I have yet to wear it again for fear of losing it.

As for the keychain here it is today and it is still holding up to teen boy daily use.

So K recommends this but I say you get what you pay for.

You can get this for $11.99 on Amazon here.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

For today's movie night we chose Dumbo.

I haven't seen Dumbo since K was little.

They all seemed to enjoy the movie.

Or they all just wanted to eat the snacks that we had.

I am going to go with they enjoy the movies and the time together as a family.

What kinds of things do you do as a family?

K's Birthday

Today is K's 15th Birthday!!!  Happy Birthday K!!!

Where has the time gone?  On this day 15 years ago at 7:55 am on Easter Sunday K was born at a whopping 8# 15.9oz and 22" long.  I was 18 years old and not ready to be a mom but the moment I saw you I knew I could do it.

We have had some fun times and some not so fun times but we survived and thrived together.

You are so going to kill me someday when you see that I put this pic of you on the internet lol.

Now you are 15 years old and got your first ipod and a Punisher hoodie.  You aren't my little boy anymore.  But, don't worry K, I will still call you my baby boy.

K playing with his new brain teasers.

They look super cool.

We went out to dinner with Grandma, Auntie L, Cousin A, Cousin M, and Aunt S.

Happy Birthday to my baby boy K and here is to another year of making memories.

We have made it to mid week yay!!!  K turns 15 tomorrow so today he brought treats to church group.  He left before I could get pics of them tho.

So instead I will just post pics of Z feeding her baby.

Selfie before daycare

giving dad a lobotomy

Checking out the window

and a chalk outline.

I try to get pics of the boys but all they wanted to do was eat and play on their tablets.

Well I suppose I should dig out K's birthday presents so we can celebrate tomorrow.

WI Interstate State Park

We are always game for a good day trip.

These pics were taken at Interstate State Park in St Croix Falls Wisconsin.

It is also known as the pothole park due to the large number of glacial potholes.

The park has a large number of hiking trails to explore.

We hate being cooped up in the house.

State parks are a great way to get out and experience nature.

Ok so it helps the kids to burn off excess energy.

But, the scenery can't be any better.

Just look at how much fun everyone is having.

By the time this pic was taken everyone was too tired to care that I was taking more pics lol.

Someday I hope to buy a house with a ton of land to explore.

Its hard to believe that we went from this on Saturday to snow today.

Franconia Sculpture Park

After the Teddy Bear Park on Saturday we continued up Highway 95 to Franconia Sculpture Park.

I enjoy this place so much.

Yup thats a pic of all 3 kids in the dog house lol.

They have 2 playgrounds for the wee ones.

Most of the sculptures allow people to climb on them.

Interactive art is the best kind of art.

It is different every time we go.
