G and I just got to try out these cool new chalk markers. You can get them on Amazon for $18.99 here.
We tried them out on his chalkboard and on an old storm window we had laying around. We both made pictures on the glass.
As you can tell the monster truck tank is his and the people and house is mine.
On the chalkboard we just wrote the color name and did a squiggle to test. We left them sit for a week because well we forgot about them lol.
On to removal. We used a baby wipe because it usually cleans everything and they were handy at the moment.
Moment of truth did it work?
Yes it did and it was cleaner when we were done than it was when we started lol.
On to the chalkboard did it work?
Not as well. This picture is after 5 minutes of mom scrubbing it trying to get it off. As you can see it does come off but not very well. We have gotten it all off not but it was a ton of work and not what we were hoping for.
We decided to give these away to his aunt who teaches high school spanish and she says they are fantastic on the whiteboard so I guess that is good. She even plans to buy more when they run out.
In conclusion these are not so great for home use with kids but fantastic for teachers. G and I figure we will buy a set for his teacher for Christmas. This is great to know! You would think chalk markers would work on chalk boards. Go figure!
