Romancing Christmas

I am not a huge fan of romance novels but I am always looking for something to read to kill time so I volunteered to do a review of this box set.  It is called Romancing Christmas: 10 Love Stories to Spice up the Holidays.  I give the box set 5 stars because there is a book for everyone in this set unless you are into the novel porn thing.

The box set is available on Amazon for the low price of $0.99 here.  Or you could pay $11.93 for 9 of the 10 books separately (one is now available out of the box set).

I will review each story individually so you have a good idea what each is about.

Broken Protocols by Dale Mayer.  This book costs $2.99 out of the box set so if you only want this book you are better off buying the set anyway.  I gave this book 2 stars.

This book is based in the future where holidays don't exist.  It is missing so many details.  From doing my research to find a cover picture I learned that Broken Protocols is part of a series.  I am sure it is a great series but because of that it makes a not so good stand alone book.

Shades of Holley by H.D. Thompson.  Free on Amazon I give it 4 stars.

This is a great story that involves lost love, a pair of sunglasses and a potential killer.  I would say more but that will start to give things away.

Season for Love by Chantel Rhondeau.  $0.99 on Amazon  4 stars

A lovely love story between a doctor and nurse.  She thinks he is an arrogant jerk who only cares about himself and he thinks that she is perfect.

Christmas Hope by Leslie Lynch $1.99 on Amazon 4 stars

This one was one of my favorites.  It is a story about Sam a injured solder scarred in battle and a pregnant woman whose now ex-boyfriend wants nothing to do with her or their unborn child.

Christmas Miracle by Sandy Loyd $0.99 on Amazon 3 stars

This one is about a lost dog, some mean in laws, and an almost missed love connection.  It reminds me a lot of my ex in laws

Salty Carmel Christmas by Barbara Lohr $1.99 on Amazon 3 stars

A college student returns home to a sick mother, a brother who is in trouble, and a blue eyed boy.

Heating up the Holidays by Marcia James $1.99 on Amazon 4 stars

After his wife dies Chris and his daughter move back to his hometown to be closer to his parents.  He runs into his old high school sweetheart and sparks start to fly.

Insanity Claus by Carolyn Hughey $0.99 on Amazon 4 stars

This one is another one of my favorites.  I tend to like ones about single moms finding love again because that is the fairy tale I am in too.

A single mom with 2 daughters meets the new man in town.  He tells her that he fell in love with her the moment he saw her.  She doesn't believe him and tries to resist his advances.

A family for Christmas by Tallulah Grace 4 stars.  This one is the one not available outside of the box set.  It is worth the read anyway.

After her father dies Erin returns to her hometown to clean up and sell his house.  She left for school years earlier and has never returned until now.  She never planned to stay but she met the neighbors and found a new family who helped her learn more about her own.

A father for Christmas by Rachelle Ayala $0.99 on Amazon 4 stars

When a little girl asked Santa for a father for Christmas her mom never planned to have that wish come true.  Then a man with severe PTSD turns up and turns their lives upside down.

See this box set has something for everyone.  I enjoyed reading it and I hope you check it out too.  When you do let me know what you think.

I am now looking for another book to read on my kindle do you have any suggestions?

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
