I have survived day one with success. I now have 23 hours without smoking under my belt. I even went for a drive and didn't have one and I thought that would be the hardest part.
What I am doing is the patch. Not the name brand I am too cheap for that crap I am doing the Walmart brand lol.
These with some help with the oral thing which I am chewing gum like it is going out of style is what helped me today. Yup thats right Stride Sour Patch kids gum in the red flavor.
I would say I saved myself $7,50 by not buying and smoking a pack but...
Yup thats right I still have 4 packs left from the carton I bought before Christmas. So as you can see I am serious about quitting this time. I even showed them to D and have left them on the counter as a reminder to myself and my family that these are no longer going to be a vice of mine.
I will throw them away eventually but for right now they are going to be a temptation so when I go back to work on Monday I can believe that I can work at gas stations and be around them and not be tempted to buy them.
Here is a pic of one of my biggest motivators to do this and succeed.
Yup when I make it a year I am totally going to spend the $50 to buy her this truck that she wants.
If you want to know how I am doing throughout the day or join me in the quitting journey I am using the #NoSmoke2015
What is the hardest thing you have ever done? This is mine obviously.
