I Wish I Were a Shark Book Review

G and I just read a new book that we received called I Wish I were a Shark by Dan Jackson it is available on amazon here for $2.99 or free if you have Kindle Unlimited.

G is 7 and in the second grade.  He says it is a good book.  Because he likes sharks and he didn't know that much about sharks before he read it to me.  It has a big picture on every page to look at too.

I am not so sure about this book myself.  It has a dolphin on the cover but never says why.  Is it that the dolphin wants to be a shark?   Also, I think that it should be "I wish I was" instead of "I wish I were".  With that aside there were some small grammar and capitalization errors but not enough to make it a bad book.

The book had some awesome pictures to look at and only one line of text to read per a page.  Most pages repeated the same line (I wish I were a shark) so it wasn't too difficult for a 2nd grader to read.
