30 Scary Tales Review

Hi everyone it is me K back again with another book review.  This one is called 30 Scary Tales by Rayne Hall.  You can pick up this ebook at Amazon for $0.99 here.

There were several stories that I liked in this book.

*   The Painted Staircase - which is about getting caught in a painting.

*   Tuppence Special - which is about a neverending rollercoaster ride.

*   Four Bony Hands - A spin on the story of Hansel and Gretel

*   The Black Boar - this one is about a man plagued by a nightmare

Some of the stories had adult content By Your Own Free Will, Turkish Night, The Painted Staircase, and Only a Fool.

I liked that the author told where her inspiration for every story came from for every story.  Also, the stories came from many different times and places.

One of the stories took place in a world that she had already created for the book Storm Dancer (which is on my Christmas wishlist *hint *hint Mom)

One thing that I didn't like about this book was that in the last book I reviewed of hers link there were many authors so there was a variety of writing styles that keep the book interesting.

All things considered I give this book a 4 out of 5 star rating.

Thanks for all the comments on my last review everyone it really made my day.  Mom and I responded to all of them or I think we did.  If anyone else would like me to review their books please let my Mom know because I love to read mostly science fiction and historical fiction but I will read just about anything.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  2. My daughters don't care too much for scary tales since they get afraid easily. Great review! #ProductReviewParty

  3. I usually read sci fi and historical novels too but a scary tale sounds like a good alternative to mix it up a bit #triedandtested
