We took the kids over to Nine Mile Creek in Bloomington to go for a short hike. K had to roll up his pants so he wouldn't get them dirty.
The creek was partly frozen but still beautiful.
It is a great hike along this path year round.
I am a huge fan of nature and try to get out and enjoy it whenever I can.
After lunch we had to drop K off at church for their nerf war so we took the 2 little ones on a bike ride. Z was not thrilled to have to wear a helmet.
She was even more mad when we strapped her in the trailer.
Once we got going she calmed right down and enjoyed the ride or so we thought...
I have no clue how she could sleep like this. I guess the trailer is like her carseat and puts her right to sleep once she starts moving lol.
We stopped at a neat old cemetery on our ride and saw this in the far corner of it and G and I had to wander out to see what it was.
Yup it is seriously a grave marker. When I die I want something cool like this to mark my spot too.
We ended our day making some Chocolate Ribbon Bars.
By we I mean I sat and knitted while D and G made them. Ok Z helped a little too.
G just likes to work with others.
They turned out ok. They are a little crumbly but they tasted good.
What did you do this weekend?
We got to attend a Harlem Globetrotters game this past weekend. Your hike looks like a lot of fun. Here in Colorado I think it is still a bit chilly for hiking but it will be warm enough later in the week. #HomeMattersParty
