Friday

Its Friday and normally we would have movie night tonight but I am in no mood for a movie nor do I have time to sit and watch a movie tonight.

Guess where we spent our morning???

Daycare was closed today so Z and I planned to meet my mom for a girls lunch but Z had other plans.

She woke up this morning with a cruddy eye.  You know the kind which you have to call for an emergency appointment because you just know its pink eye.

Yup Z has pink eye and an ear infection.  She just finished the meds for strep on Monday and now we are back on meds for something else.  Will this crap ever end?

This is the light in the exam room.  I kept looking at it trying to figure out if the dolphins were swimming sideways or were the fish sideways?

We did end up meeting my mom for lunch anyways.  We had noodles at this one place that I have no clue of the name and cream cheese puffs from Leeann Chin.  I got the lamest fortune ever.

I mean seriously Z always eats her vegetables and has been sick every 2 weeks 4 times now.

Sloppy Joes

G got yet another birthday party invitation today.  Well he said that he got it yesterday and forgot to bring it home.

It is a super cute handmade minecraft card.  I bet Ben drew it by himself.  The issue is that its very short notice.  The party is on Saturday.  So thats what 3 days notice to find a gift for a kid that I don't even know.  Another issue is that it is a swimming party and I have no clue where G's swimsuit is nor do I know if it even still fits.  Guess what we are going to do tomorrow evening.

This is why they are called sloppy joes lol.

Creators Eye

Hi everyone its me K here with my next book review.

This one is called The Creator's Eye Mover of Fate Part 1 by R.M. Feldman.  As with all of my other book reviews this one is available for Kindle for $2.99 here.

This book is about a young man named Michael Edwards who lives on an island chain on which people can control matter with their minds.  It is protected by a barrier that makes it nearly invisible so unless you sail through it you will miss it.

Michael was born in the United States and moved to the island as a refugee with his parents when he was very young.

One day Michael sees a horned man being chased by dogs who end up killing the man.  Later his hometown is attacked by similar horned men who claim that the first man was a traitor.

Michael escapes with a girl who is a similar age as himself.  They end up at a family members house who tells him that he is not who he thought he was.

One thing that I liked about this book was that this book is fast paced.  It gets you hooked on the action from the very beginning.

I also had one dislike and that was that some characters just disappear.  It is very disappointing that you don't find out what happens to some of the characters.

I am working on several more book reviews so keep an eye out for me.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Practice

Today I got to practice driving a class B truck.

It went as well as could be expected.  Doing the pre-trip this morning was extremely cold, delivering ice sucked, but I got to drive one of the big trucks so I don't really care.

When I got home Z was using her knit dynamite to try and blow up the baby gate so she could get downstairs.

The best part of the day was rocking out to this song while I backed the truck up to the dock at the end of the day.

I hope that I get to go again tomorrow.

No Tech Tuesday

Another fun evening of quality family time with no electronics.

The boys did some homework and after they were finished with regular school stuff they copied words from the dictionary.  We have them copy words to help build their vocabulary as well as work on their handwriting.

Z did her own thing most of the night.

D is continuing to try and plan a family vacation.  It is hard work to plan things that we can do with Z and still keep both boys entertained.

As usual I knit and I am actually almost done with my 4th pair for the year.  This pair is going to be for Z for her 2nd birthday in December.

Z played some more.

G and I played some Spongebob Guess Who and then he wandered off to watch K play Battleship.

D did end up making some progress with trip planning.

Playing and trip planning is hard work I guess lol.

I think I am going to join them good night everyone I will see you tomorrow.

I Passed

I am enjoying the month of March so far.

March 1, I made it 2 months without smoking.

March 2, I passed my CDL permit test!!!

I can now drive a Class B truck with another licensed driver.

I got 82% on the general knowledge part so I got 40 out of 49 right.
I got 91% on the air brake part and that one all I remember is that I only got 2 wrong.

But, who cares I passed!!!

I wonder what the 3rd of March has in store for me?

Sunday

I got nothin to talk about today.  All we did was run to Walmart to buy a new DVD player because our old one took a dive on us.

After that all we did was clean house and watch movies like a bunch of bums.

It was a casual weekend and now that February is over I can say that it is official that I have made it 2 whole months without a smoke.  That is 60 days as of today!

I hope that you had a good weekend as well.
